Hey everyone,
I birded this evening in the southeast section of Talbot County
concentrating on field birds. I was successful with a male Dickcissel
at Hole-In-The-Wall Cemetery off at Rt 50/Manadier Rds. The
Dickcissel was on the north edge of the field north of the cemetery.
It was far enough off that I could just barely hear it singing and
needed a scope to get decent looks. I then headed to the fields at
the Kate's Point Rd / Windy Hill Rd fields. I spent an hour listening
to meadowlarks, Horned Larks, and Grasshopper Sparrows. Three female
Harriers were working the fields (all three were seen at one time). I
was hoping to hear Bobwhite but failed to hear any. Full ebird lists
