Hi all,
I have an interesting thrush in my yard and I'm not sure what it is. It
looks a bit like a hermit thrush but I don't know how it could be this time
of year. I don't think it is a wood thrush or veery, which leaves
bicknell's, swainson's or gray-cheeked, all of which I would have difficulty
differentiating between without hearing it vocalize, which unfortunately it
didn't.
I have a few photos here:

for those interested. I apologize for the quality - it was evening and I
was taking the photos through a glass door.
I think it is still hanging around the yard today, so I'll try to get a
better shot. It did sway somewhat while foraging though, which I thought
was fairly interesting. Sort of like a woodcock does, though much less
dramatic.
Any thoughts/suggestions would be greatly appreciated.
Thanks in advance,
Colin Hebert
