No luck on the Kentucky or the Blue-winged at Hashawha.

I would like to add the Kentucky Warbler and the Blue-winged Warbler to my
life list if anyone can point me in the right area to look for them.

Eileen and all,

I think Morgan Run is probably more reliable for Blue-wings. I can find
Kentuckies at either Morgan or Hashawa but bear in mind this is a skulky
little bird that is 99% more hearable than seeable.

However just a comment about seeing anything from here on out:

Summer has struck early this year. I never dreamed I would see nearly 100
degree heat in May, but here it is. And tomorrow is still May and they are
predicting another 97 degree day after hitting 98 at the airport and 99
downtown today. This is the sort of stuff that drives me and the birds
inside for the summer. I don't think most species sing much after dawn
chorus on days like this. I had Waterthrush chipping at me all while I
fished today in Garrett but none of them sang a note. Finding Blue-wings and
Kentuckies in this heat will be tough and I would volunteer to lead anybody
to them if I thought they would cooperate, but I'm probably done for the
year.

I suffer badly in this stuff and I will see you all in the fall when I can
stand to be out again.
