Anyone had any luck observing the kite lately?

Thanks!

And my son and I kayaked around our community if Amberley this morning. We enjoyed:
-several Osprey with hatchlings, none visible... But lots of overprotective parents.
-singing Baltimore Oriole
-Green and Great Blue Heron
-Three Catbirds and a Mockingbird
-an Eastern Kingbird, Great-crested Fly and Eastern Wood Pewee
-Barn Swallows galore.
-House Sparrow. A new bird for our community, but technically it was across the creek... :)

Interesting, sad rather, to watch three marauding Fish Crows as they went from dock to dock raiding Barn Swallow nests underneath. A dock would be silent and birdless, and when the crows arrive to poach from the nests, 20 or so swallows would bolt out from under the pier.
