Nothing beautiful about invasive species, especially this one. They're doing millions of dollars in crop/plant damage and spreading fast. They're the insect equivalent of devils tear thumb (mile-a-minute vine).

These stink bug have been around for a while and while an agricultural and 
ousehold pest they are in their way attractive.
hey have these extraordinary carbuncular simple eyes. BTW Maryland birds 
robably eat them.
