This morning I went to Turner Rd in southern Calvert County to look for the Dickcissels originally found last weekend by Joel Martin.  I saw a singing male on the wires just past the green barn after coming through the curvy part of the road.  There were still large weedy areas on both sides of the road, but it looked like an adjacent area had been recently mowed.
