Dickcissels, they're everywhere....

This morning I saw 3 singing DICKCISSELS on Cap Stine Rd - southwest of
Frederick. Also 2 Blue Grosbeaks, a Vesper Sparrow, 2 Grasshopper Sparrows and
5 Horned Larks. Drove around the Oland Rd/Adamstown Rd/New Design Rd area but
couldn't find any Dickcissels. Otherwise, the same grassland birds as Cap
Stine, + meadowlarks.

Also a female NORTHERN HARRIER near Adamstown. Seen one twice in the Harney Rd
area of northern Frederick County in the last month too. Could these be
breeding in the county?

Greenfield Rd produced Yellow-breasted Chat, Yellow-throated Warbler,
Worm-eating Warbler and Northern Parula (3). Had a brief stop at Lilypons,
mainly to remind myself why I avoid it in summer. Fantasized about Mississippi
Kites but beat a hasty retreat due to the bugs. Lots of bugs.
