My wife Erin and I met Gemma Radko at Little Bennett Regional Park (Bennet Ridge & Owl Ridge Trails) this morning. After this, Erin and I hit Westerly Rd near the junction with Edwards Ferry Rd, then continued onto Lilypons (no rails in the late morning). Westerly Rd produced both VESPER SPARROW and DICKCISSEL as previously reported to MDOsprey, as well as Eastern Meadowlark and Field Sparrow. We found another DICKCISSEL at the north corner of Lilypons Rd at the intersection with Buckeystown Hwy just on the other side of Oland Rd. Little Bennett highlights included seven breeding warblers, including KENTUCKY (2 seen, 1 heard), PRAIRIE, and WORM-EATING.
