Don't know about why they're so late, but we have been hearing several singing from around the woods here for about the past week or so, when they were rather quiet earlier in the spring.

I am so happy to report that as of two nights ago I have been hearing a Wood
hrush singing especially in the evening. My neighborhood birder friend and I
were so disappointed when we didn't hear it this spring. Why would it be so
ate?
