This morning (6/25) I saw two male Bobolinks in a field on the west side of Keysville Road opposite Hagerstown Road. There were three Dickcissels and a meadowlark at this spot also. There were at least 5 Dickcissels along Sixes Bridge Road just east of Keysville Road- nice to meet Bob Ringler here. This location also featured Red-headed Woodpecker, Horned Lark, Vesper Sparrow, Savannah Sparrow and Grasshopper Sparrow. Baumgardner Road between Piney Creek and Bullfrog Road had Dickcissels (2 males and a female), a Blue Grosbeak and Red-headed Woodpecker. More Dickcissels were at Sixes Bridge and Forest Stream Roads and along Shriver Road in Frederick County.
