Yesterday I visited NW Carroll County again to show Dickcissels to some
friends. Many fields have been recently mowed. Best views of Dickcissels
were a pair on Baumgardner Road S just off Bullfrog Road and two singing at
the intersection of Sixes Bridge Road and Keysville Road with another female
there. Others were heard on Bullfrog Road east of Baumgardner Road S,
Keysville Road at Hagerstown Lane, Forest & Stream Club Road east of the
club, and Sharrett Road off Route 194. A Blue Grosbeak was also singing at
the latter site. The only Bobolink encountered was a flyover at Sixes Bidge
Rd X Keysville Rd.
