The Bowens and I did a few loops through Montgomery, Frederick and Carroll Counties today(7/1).  We decided against facing the holiday/weekend traffic on the Bay Bridge and stayed closer to home.  Highlights follow:

Northern Mockingbirds were everywhere.  Nice day, low humidity - will try to go east once the holiday is over.
