This afternoon a bird landed on my backyard feeder in Rockville, that I
could not identify:
Size about 11-12 inches, clumsy as you would expect from a juvenile. Yet
very aggressive - chasing away all other birds from the feeder.
Overall drab looking with a dark ear, a hint of orange on the primaries and
orange-red feet. Pictures at:
