Hi Folks,

To go along with Ed & Jim's White-throated Sparrow at Swan Creek this
morning, I was given quite a jolt when I was on one of the trails at the
Patuxent Research Refuge (North Tract; I think the Sweet Gum Trail), and a
small bird in the road hopped to the side, and let me get within about five
feet of it.  It was a SLATE-COLORED JUNCO, my first ever in MD in July
outside of Garrett Co.
