Here in CV Co we get few Spring migrants, but fair numbers in the Fall. 
Yesterday before sunset, we had a surprise Hooded Warbler female just outside 
the front window. Since we heard none in our wooded patch this spring, it must 
have been a very early migrant.

Also - it seems only yesterday we were bidding farewell to the last north-bound 
shorebirds, and now Least Sandpipers (17) are back at the North Beach Marsh (as 
of Sunday).
