Hi Everyone,

Marty Cribb and I were supposed to go birding this morning, but Marty
canceled. So, I decided to work on one of my herp atlas territories at
Elms Beach. I did not add any new species, so I decided to look for
Black Terns on the pound nets offshore. There was one cormorant (one of
the closest) that appeared much smaller than the rest. I don't have
many details because of the distance and also because the bird had its
back to me. Therefore, I don't know if it is an illusion, an extra
small individual close to large ones or a different species. If any one
is in the area I would love an opinion.

Best bird I found was a brown-headed Red-headed Woodpecker.

Great Birding!
