Hi all,

We had a great time birding Poplar Island and I was very happy to see my lifer Virginia Rail and its babies.

My question is concerning the Hudsonian Godwit. It was juvenile that we saw right? Before, I add this bird to my lifer list I wanted to make sure that another Godwit that I listed as a Marbled Godwit is correct. I believe it was also a juvenile. The juvenile birds can really throw me off.

Here is a photo of the bird I listed as a marbled godwit. Can someone confirm my Marbled before I add the Hudsonian to my lifer list? Thanks

And now back to my morning Backyard birds

I have fun this morning watching the hummingbird wars on my deck. And a noisy juvie catbird sitting in my weeping cherry tree.
