Very enjoyable day for the 10 participants. A Snipe was the best bird. Some of the birds:

SNIPE, Pied-Billed Grebes, Bald Eagles, Osprey, a HARRIER, Hairy Woodpecker,  Green Heron, Purple Martins, Pewee, yellowthroats, marsh wrens, indigo buntings--and semipalmated and least sandpipers, both yellowlegs, and killdeer.
