The Potomac near Fort Washington, PG County was very busy with terns 
this afternoon. The highlight was seeing a flock of 29 BLACK TERNS 
racing up the river in front of a severe thunderstorm. Overall, my 
totals were:

Forster's Tern - 43
Black Tern - 33
Caspian Tern - 6

There were also hundreds of Laughing Gulls in the area, many of which 
were birds born this year.
