A late post on a 3 hr. walk from ll45 to 1445. Good to be out and around
following an operation on the RH and a series of tropical rains. Nothing
of particular note, except a distant look w/binoc's at the hawk migration
site's Black Locust snag looked like a MERLIN. I quickly returned to the
car to break out the 'scope and by that time it was gone. Anyway, there 
were a few new early fall sightings for me, such as the YB CUCKOO, 
E KINGBIRD, and a seemingly late WARBLING VIREO. Also, I had 
some nice looks at both Vultures, Pewee and Acadian Fly'r, and my 1st
looks at the E KINGBIRD. Among the many Chipping Sparrows, I was
able to pick out a couple of Field Sparrows. In all, 27 spp., as listed:
