Ok, one more post...

Yesterday (15 Aug 2011) after a tip from Jim Stasz about good shorebird habitat on Log Cabin Rd in Wicomico Co, I stopped at the turf farm there to try my luck.  A nice collection of shorebirds was right next to the road near some puddles in furrows in a tilled field:

Killdeer--12
Semiplamated Plover--7
AMERICAN GOLDEN-PLOVER--1 ad
Semipalmated Sandpiper--1
Least Sandpiper--14
Pectoral Sandpiper--3

Before that I was able to scan Skimmer Island in Ocean City for a few minutes before the impressive clouds started dropping their rain.  I had time to see that at least one MARBLED GODWIT continues in the area.
