Hi all,
While out running pre-hurricane errands, I stopped by Brookside to view our county visitor the Olive-sided Flycatcher previously reported by Jared F, Gail & Barry and others. When I got there I was walking through the azaleas garden, it was up on a dead snag in a Tulip Poplar. Then it flew. On a hunch, I knew where it was headed, and at the Conservatory/Butterfly Garden in the left corner, there it was! It even did it's "whip" call once. It's already a lifer for me, but still nice to renew an acquaintance. Lots of American Robins, Gray Catbirds, Grackles, Bluejays, Amer.Finches, 3 Ruby thrt Hummingbirds in the area all stocking up.
