**Note: Regarding the abridged databases, our most recent historical 
canvass activities focused on species that are extinct or are 
extirpated Maryland breeders. So, in the latest versions of these MD 
and DC databases you can find "sourced" reports of Passenger Pigeon, 
Eskimo Curlew, Carolina Parakeet, Greater Prairie Chicken (Heath 
Hen), Bewick's Wren, among other species updates. (Caution, these 
database files are large PDF documents ... don't print them!). The 
source documents for these reports and records are included as fields 
in the complete MD/DCRC database; however, they are not shown in 
these abridged web versions.)
