Just a quick update from yesterday and today.

Yesterday I hit a few spots in the afternoon, including Fort Armistead Park, Harbor Hospital, and the Inner Harbor-- late.

At Fort Armistead, the highlight was 5 Royal Terns, 2 adult and 3 Juveniles. The juveniles flew right past the dock, apparently playing. Nothing else unexpected.

Harbor Hospital held 4 tern species, 2 Caspian, 1 Royal adult, 1 Common, and 1 Forster's.

A late walk around the Inner Harbor yielded nothing unusual, and the best sighting was a distance look at a Peregrine Falcon.

Today there was more excitement for me. I stopped by Back River (Eastern Ave) for lunch, and scoped from the Park-and-Ride. There was an excellent number of Caspian Terns (12 is a conservative estimate). But the exciting part of the visit was a single BLACK TERN that I scoped flying out in front of the flat area, it then turned north, stayed in view for a bit and moved up past the bridge.
