On Ebeneezer Rd. in northern Worcester County, on the Murray Bros. Sod Farms, there were 2 Hudsonian Godwits in a puddle with Laughing gulls and a Caspian Tern. 2 American Golden-Plovers joined them for a bit as did a small flock of peeps. The approach of a corn harvester scattered all the birds, about one minute before Scott Housten arrived, and about 5 minutes before Ron Gutberlet. The godwits flew of to the northeast and didn't return. We continued birding the fields, as workers were tilling a couple of them. Scott spotted a Buff-breasted Sandpiper, in one adjoining field, plus we had 6 American Golden-Plovers, 4 Black-bellied Plovers and 4 Ruddy Turnstones in the fields.
These fields were west of the farm compound, which contains several grain silos on Ebeneezer Road, before that road becomes Blueberry Road.
