Adding to the chorus of Nighthawk sightings tonight, I had a flock of 8 flying north at 7:45 over my roof deck in Takoma Park, and then moments later I had to duck to avoid one that was flying literally right at my head.  I can tell you, they fly really fast, and presumably don't see very well.
