With all the sightings of Nighthawks lately, I was getting a little jealous, of not even seeing one! But today, finally,while driving down Rte 274 near Rising Sun, was treated to these wonderful creatures.  My husband and I counted at least 15, between Route 272 and Barnes Corner Rd.  At one point, we stopped on the side of the road to admire their aerial flights.  Lots of dragonflies in flight, so I'm wondering if that is what they were feeding on.  The sightings were around 6:30 PM.
