Hey everyone,

Jared Satchell and birded in Talbot County today hoping the first real
cold front of the season would bring in good migrants. We were not
disappointed. We birded in the Oxford area before work and headed to
Tilghman Island after work. We saw 14 species of warbler.

Tennessee Warbler -- 1 on Tilghman Island
Chestnut-sided Warbler -- 1 on Tilghman Island
Magnolia Warbler -- a few seen both in Oxford and on Tilghman
Cape May Warbler -- 2 seen in Oxford
Black-throated Blue Warbler -- 1 female seen on Tilghman Island
Black-throated Green Warbler -- a few seen both in Oxford and on Tilghman
Blackburnian Warbler -- 1 seen on Tilghman Island
Prairie Warbler -- 1 seen on Tilghman Island
Bay-breasted Warbler -- 1 seen on Tilghman Island still holding a lot of color
Black-and-white Warbler -- many seen both in Oxford and Tilghman
American Redstart -- many seen in both Oxford and Tilghman
Northern Waterthrush -- 1 seen on Tilghman Island
Common Yellowthroat -- 1 seen in Oxford and 2 on Tilghman
Wilson's Warbler -- 1 seen in Oxford

Philadelphia Vireo -- 1 seen in Oxford

Other migrants included 1 Baltimore Oriole, 1 Eastern Kingbird, many
Red-eyed Vireos, a couple empids that got away, and best of all a
Red-headed Woodpecker that Jared saw flying over Town Creek Boatyard
mid morning that I missed.
