All,

Spent my morning at little bennett. As others have noted, it was a great day to be out. Most warblers were concentrated in mixed feeding flocks. Unfortunately, a few of the mixed flocks I encountered were too vast (30 to 40 birds), and many birds slipped by unidentified as the flock moved through. I had 12 warbler species before 8 o clock with the best group coming from the end of the wilson's mill area. Other good birds like the bay-breasted were seen around the kingsley mill parking area. I stuck around for few hours after the flood of birds from 7 to 8. While this added to the totals of some of the commoner species, I only ended up adding FOS yellow-rumped to the warbler list. Shared some of the birds with John Stup and Claire Wolfe.
