I birded the park this morning, as well.  Most notable bird for me was a Summer Tanager in the horse stables area.

This morning 9/24) at Rock Creek Park�. After four days without seeing warblers, we finally got some.  Warblers: B&W, Redstart, Blackpoll, Chestnut-sided, Green, Parula, Yellowthroat  ----Ridge
Black-and-white Warbler  5
American Redstart  6
Blackpoll Warbler  2
Chestnut-sided Warbler
Chimney Swift  (numerous)
Ruby-throated Hummingbird
Red-eyed Vireo  10+
Common Grackle  20+  fly by
Tufted Titmouse
Carolina Chickadee  10+
Scarlet Tanager  2
American Crow
Rose-breasted Grosbeak  heard
Wood Thrush ----Equitation Field (Paul, Nick)

Northern Parula ----Maintenance Yard and Fence Line
