Bird activity and diversity was pretty good, but numbers were pretty low at Hains Point today.  Warbler action was surprisingly good - 7 species.
 
At Kenilworth Park the WHITE IBIS continued to hang out with Canada Geese on the large grassy fields. Kenilworth also hosted 4 raptor species all perched (Red-shouldered, Red-tailed, Cooper's and Kestrel).  Unfortunately, they were perched and hunting over the fields and spooked some of the few shorebirds present (Greater Yellowlegs).  I suspect there were other shorebirds present early in the morning before the raptors became active...
