At Michael's suggestion I am forwarding his report on the great birds he found in the C&O canal area.

> Hi Wallace,

> Saw your post on Rock Creek this morning. I also had a very birdy morning on the C and O canal today, 13 species of warbler (Black-throated Green, Black-throated Blue, Blackpoll, Black and White, Cape May, Prothonotary, Bay-breasted, Magnolia, Chestnut-sided, and Blackburnian Warbler, American Redstart, Common Yellowthroat and Northern Parula) and over 50 species total. Warbling Vireo at Violette's lock also seemed notable to me. Also notable was activity late into the day, with the last warbler flock at Violette's around 11:45 am. Feel free to forward to MD Osprey for me.
