Hi Everyone,

I checked http://www.woodcreeper.com this morning to get the an idea about the migration forecast.  Luckily, they said it would be really good, so armed with my binos I headed out to Fort DuPont Park, DC.  There were a number of nice Warbler flocks working the forest edges.  The Community Garden area was nice for Prairie Warbler, Common Yellowthroat, and Wild Turkeys.

The oddest thing was a large pure flock of Wood Thurshes feeding in an a small tree about 20 ft tall - just inside the forest edge.  I couldn't see any fruit or nuts, but there must have been something (and insect swarm?).  There were at least 11 individuals, but could have been more - maybe 20.  I've never seen such a large Wood Thrush flock - have other people experienced this?
