I got a late start this morning but there were a lot of migrants moving
through the park around Pine Lake. The highlights were my FOS Winter Wren, a
single Philadelphia Vireo and a bright Bay breasted Warbler. I saw 7 species
of warblers overall:
Bay breasted (m)
Black and white
Black throated Blue (m)
Black throated Green (m)
Common Yellowthroat
Magnolia (several)
Nashville (several)
Other birds seen included Canada Goose, Red-bellied Woodpecker, Northern
Flicker, Pileated Woodpecker, Eastern Phoebe, Blue Jay, Carolina Chickadee,
Tufted Titmouse, White-breasted Nuthatch, Carolina Wren, Robin, Catbird and
Brown Thrasher
