10-11:30 am Tuesday, temps 65 degrees breezy
*Immatures this week*
Wife and I saw on the first 100 feet of the boardwalk, 2 twin juvenile Black
Night Herons sitting in what looked to be a cottonwood like bush.
The white seeds were soft as cotton anyway and were very small. The color of
the spots on the back wings of the herons.

On the opposite of the walkway on a phone pole was also a long tailed hawk
with spots on it wings..I suspect an immature Coopers hawk.

The usuall 2-3 immature Grerat Blue Herons, all gray or all beige.

*Then at the west end of the 1.5 mile trail*,

was our local white headed bald eagle sitting on the water tower.

At least 2-3 Great white egrets and one snowy egret. There were 60 snowys
just a week ago.

1 willet finally showing white underwings as it lit among the tall grasses.

50-60 american wigeon on the wing, flashing white as they landed on a far
stretch of creek.

a pair of kingfisher whistlling as they chased each other around.
