Hi all --

Not much action today, but not unexpected as perfect weather for
migration -- however we seemed to have had an excess of Emigration
and not too much Immigration, unfortunately. Almost all the catbirds,
phoebes, warblers and good number of sparrows were "missing in
action." Need another good cold front! We did the park near Pine Lake
and around the nature center (which was most active area). Very beautiful
day to be out, despite lack of birds...

Birds of interest:

Pied-billed Grebe - 1
Great Blue Heron - 3
Green Heron - 1
Belted Kingfisher - 1
Red-shouldered Hawk - 1
Chimney Swift - 5-6
Northern Flicker - 5
Eastern Phoebe - 1
Blue-headed Vireo - 1
Winter Wren - 2
Gray Catbird - 6 (all at nature ctr.)
Nashville Warbler - 1
Magnolia Warbler - 1
Black-throated Blue Warbler - 5
Black-throated Green Warbler - 1
Yellow-rumped (Myrtle) Warbler - 12
Eastern Towhee - 3
Chipping Sparrow - 15+
Swamp Sparrow - 1
White-throated Sparrow - 12+
