I should have noted that my "research" for postings of WCSP did not extend back BEFORE Oct. 5, so there may well have been an earlier posting.

It also appears, even if i was correct, that Bonnie bumped me out of the top 10 with her posting just before mine :(
 
Hummers have been absent for several weeks, although i'm keeping my feeder up thru the winter...

By my count i made it within the first 10 reports of WCSP to Osprey.  Jim Green's Oct 5th posting from Cheasapeake Farms being the first that i could find.  Mine was an adult attracted to my bird bath.
Twice in the past week, i've heard Screech Owls calling in the late hours before or just after midninght, incl last night around 10pm.
