It was a rare treat to find a White-crowned Sparrow visiting our little 
pond this morning -- such a beautiful bird.

Saw my first-of-season White-throats two days ago, a small flock 
foraging silently under a bush. They may have arrived earlier, but I 
haven't heard any calls for "Sam Peabody" yet.
