Saturday and Sunday we took groups of 10 and 14 to the private University of
MD Central Farm searching for the Clay-colored and Nelson's Sparrows which
we had on Friday. Unfortunately we did not relocate them. Friday night must
have been a good night to migrate.
Saturday morning brought in a large number of Swamp Sparrows.
This morning, Sunday 10/16 we had great views of a MARSH WREN and a late
GRASSHOPPER SPARROW. The other highlight was a DICKCISSEL.
PLEASE REMEMBER THAT BIRDERS ARE NOT ALLOWED TO BIRD THIS PROPERTY UNLESS
THEY ARE PART OF A SCHEDULED BIRD WALK. We have tried to accomadate all
birders who have requested to bird here and recently have had birders from
Baltimore, Montgomery, PG, Anne Arundel, and Carroll Counties.
The complete lists from Sunday and Saturday are below.
