Hi Philip:

The Elkton bird is the second Green Violetear report for Maryland.
The first was actually in August of this year at West River, Anne
Arundel County. It was a "one-feeding wonder," only present for a few
moments, but the homeowner was able to snap a quick (somewhat blurry)
cell phone image. He also was able to provide some details. So, both
reports will be circulated through the records committee at the same
time. Could they have been the same birds ... ???

I've got a few Green Violetear images too, from Ecuador ...

I also have some Sparkling Violetears out there for comparison.

Phil
