10/23 South Baltimore Sightings: LBBG, TEWA, LISP, EAME...

Hi Everyone. 
 
I spent a few hours this afternoon birding South Baltimore, after being away for a few weeks and busy for some time. I went to Southwest Area Park, and found many Myrtle Warblers, and also a late Tennessee Warbler mixed in near the boat launch. In the field adjacent to the boat launch, there were good numbers of Song Sparrows, a few Savannah Sparrows, and good looks at a FOS Lincoln's Sparrow for me. 
 
An interesting observation was an Eastern Meadowlark flying around a very busy air field, where the Baltimore model plane club had an event going on. There were at least three model planes buzzing around the area, and the EAME was flying around in circles, quite strange. 
 
After SWAP I stopped by the Patapsco Market (Annapolis RD and Patapsco Ave) to see what was happening with gulls. There were many Ringers and Herring Gulls feeding and playing with the lots garbage, a few Laughing Gulls, and one beautiful adult Lesser Black-backed Gull partaking in the action.
