  Birded Rock Creek Park 10/21, Bethesda.  Species observed/heard:

Broad-winged Hawk  3
Red tailed Hawk   1
Turkey Vulture   1
Cedar Waxwings  40
Purple Grackles  20
Red winged Blackbirds 5
American Robins -many
Yellow rumped Warblers - many
Ruby crowned Kinglets
Golden crowned Kinglets
Common Yellowthroat    1
Rufous sided Towhee   1
Northern Mockingbird   1 ( strange, I  don't get many in the park)
White throated Sparrows  

Mourning Dove  

White breast Nuthatch
Downy Woodpecker  3
Northern Flicker   2
Yellow bellied Sapsucker  1
Pileated Woodpecker   1

Rachel Carson Park (River Otter trail) 10/23

Hermit Thrushes  12+
Yellow rumped warblers  10+
Ruby crowned Kinglets  (many in area)
Golden crowned -several
Cedar Waxwings  20

Sharp Shinned Hawk  (soaring high)
