Hi all,

Made a short late morning walk along Rock Creek and the pond back in the woods.
Sally, I found some ducks!   I walked back to the small pond off route 355 which has water and plenty of grass which about 25 Mallards were feeding.  I didn't go close, as I would have flushed them. Also observed an interesting 'kettle' of about 28 Turkey vultures overhead, going south.

Other species today:

American Robin
Red winged Blackbird
Purple Grackle
House Finch
Cedar Waxwing
White throated sparrow
Yellow bellied Sapsucker
Song Sparrow   1

Red bellied Woodpecker
White breasted Nuthatch

Hermit Thrush   1

Ruby Crowned Kinglet
Yellow rumped Warblers
Common Yellow throat   1
Red shouldered Hawk    1
Bluejay  1
Mourning Dove
Winter Wren
Carolina Wren
