During my lunch break, I found an Orange-crowned Warbler in the scrubby area
off Melwood Rd in Upper Marlboro. It was in the same area where Mikey
Lutmerding found Dickcissels earlier this summer. The whole time I watched
it, it contently fed on a small woody thorn-type plant with white fluffiness
around the seeds - if anyone has an idea on what this plant could be, let me
know. I'll post photos of the bird (and plant) later on my Flickr site.
