Nice surprise this morning with FOS white throated sparrows and song sparrows Yesterday it was chipping sparrows and the yellow rumped warblers arrived on 10/7 along with a yellow belly sapsucker and all have continued to stick around. A young red tailed hawk is still flying around with six young American crows and the sharpie has thinned out the rabbits and squirrels. Have one white breasted nuthatch that has been eating from the pine trees but haven't seen it at the feeders yet. The gray catbirds, brown thrashers, yellow shafted flickers-3, mockingbirds, yellow rumped warblers, robins, blue jays, cardinals, Carolina chickadees all have been eating the berries from the 3 dogwood trees. The woodpeckers sure had a good year as I have more of them than past years Have had a blast watching and photographing them. As usual the everyday birds continue to come in as the feeders stay full and there have been 2 mature and 1 immature bald eagles flying over daily lately. I hear 2 gray catbirds fussing as I am posting this.

Happy birding to all
