This entire report is based on birding on the far west branch of the Fishing
Creek boardwalk , specifically at the railroad landing terminal at
Chesapeake Beach

*Month in review*
First week in October I had counts of Snow egrets as high as 90, red winged
blackbirds 500, Ospreys 10
Second week in October, I still frequently counted 60 snowys, red winged
blackbirds 300, Ospreys 4
Third week in October, I counts as high as 30 snowys, Red winged blackbirds
200, Ospreys 1
Fourth week in October , I counted 4 Snowy egrets, red winged blackbirds
100, Ospreys 0

*Oct 28th*
2 eagles above the water tower,
pair of kingfisher, at least
2 db cormorants resting on the far pier next to
3 snowy egrets ( food is still plentiful) and
10 common terns
10 great blue heron of various ages and sizes
 20 yellow rumped warblers
50 rw blackbirds
1 red tailed hawk
1 fish crow that sounded like a duck

0 green heron, an immature had been seen earlier and several adults
0 black back heron, 2 speckled immature herons had been seen earlier
10,000 bull minnows at low tide 10:30 am not being eaten by any creatures
0 crabs

In mid October, I had seen some 30 small ducks with white wing edges landing
,reminding me of wigeons.as they flased their colors while circling to land
Might have seen a willet in the same area at a different time.
