I birded Quiet Waters park in Annapolis today with my girlfriend. It was quite birdy with a huge number of GC and RC Kinglets, and decent sparrow and woodpecker diversity. Best bird of the day (initially found by Amanda) was an Orange-crowned Warbler. It was in the created meadow near the ice rink. There was a large flock of Kinglets, Yellow-rumps, Goldfinches, Chipping, Field, White-throated Sparrows, and Juncos all using the same area. Also had 2 Eastern (Yellow) Palm Warblers and a nice flock of Cedar Waxwings. 38 species on our afternoon walk. The best photos I could get of the OCWA can be seen here: http://www.flickr.com/photos/64973768@N03/6296400859/in/set-72157627890633727/
