This morning I had a nice, long look at a preening Lincoln's Sparrow. It was perched in the sun at the top of a small bush along the pathway east of the playground and just north of pond 7. Other birds nearby were two Ruby-crowned Kinglets, Yellow-rumped Warbler, Field Sparrow, several Chipping Sparrows, and five Swamp Sparrows including an attractively plumaged adult bird.
