Hello Everyone,
 
This morning I headed out to Kenilworth Park and the adjacent K. Aquatic Gardens (DC). Highlights included a SORA, 6 Great Egrets, and a late male NORTHERN PARULA.
 
The Sora responded twice to a recording and gave it's Kerwee call (about 8:50 am).  It seemed to be calling from south west of the 1st observation platform on the boardwalk (not the farthest one).  Attempts about a hour later to get a response were unsuccessful.  
 
This was also my 214th species for DC this year.
