The bird was foraging in the grass near the beach; visible from the parking lot that overlooks the lighthouse and small boat launch. I watched it for 35 minutes or so and was even able to approach within 20 feet to get some nice photos. Other birds included 1 "Yellow" Palm Warbler, 8 Buffleheads, a low Golden-crowned Kinglet, 8 or 9 Eastern Bluebirds, a Hermit Thrush (perched on a picnic table), five Yellow-rumped Warblers, and several of the common species of sparrows. Gulls included 91 Ring-billed, 10 Herring, 5 Great Black-backed, and 5 Laughing Gulls.
